Anonymous street artist Banksy has given fans a rare insight into his personal life by creating a piece inside his own house. he has posted a series of images on instagram of an artwork inside his bathroom that features rats wreaking havoc in is assumed to be his home.

Banksy has painted images depict nine rats with the caption: ‘my wife hates it when I work from home.’ the rodents are seen climbing into shelves, swinging from towel hooks, hanging from lamp cord, and unravelling a toilet roll. one rat is seen weeing into the toilet and another is seen swinging from a toilet roll holder and squeezing toothpaste with its foot.

Banksy is an anonymous British street artist, political activist, and film director. his satirical street art and subversive epigrams often combine dark humor with graffiti executed in a distinctive stencilling technique. in February, he gifted his hometown of Bristol with a valentine’s day mural. in December he shared an alternative nativity scene that comments on the imposed divide between Palestinians and Israelis.
